A Great Way to Serve Your Community
When I was asked to serve on the board, I had no idea how rewarding serving my fellow residents of Cottonwood Valley would be. From meeting more of our wonderful neighbors, to helping guide our community to be the best place to live in DFW, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Board. I would encourage anyone who would like to make a difference as well as being a part of something really interesting, to consider running for a board seat.
There is a small commitment and you must be willing to attend at least 8 meetings annually. These meetings, taking place in the CWV board room at the Story gate house, generally last 2-3 hours where you will help guide the actions and business of our HOA.
We also ask board members to take part in certain committees that can require some of your time as well.
Committees include:
- Security
- Landscaping
- Traffic Calming
- Finance & Investments
- Infrastructure
- Communications / Social
CWV is a vibrant, diverse community with hundreds of wonderful families. I truly believe you will enjoy helping CWV continue to be a wonderful place to live.
